Guest use and necessary storage
You can use the solo timer without an account. Guest solve times, scrambles, sessions, interface preferences, pending sync information and your privacy choice may be stored in your browser's local storage. This keeps the timer useful between visits on the same device. Clearing site data in your browser removes locally stored information.
Necessary storage is separate from optional analytics. Choosing “Necessary only” does not disable the timer, guest solve history or settings that you ask the app to remember.
Accounts and cloud data
Account authentication is provided through Supabase. Supabase Auth processes the email address and authentication information needed to create and protect an account; this app does not store your plaintext password. Account features may store a display name, account creation date, active session, named sessions and solve records including a time, scramble, date, source and session.
If you choose to migrate guest history into an account, those selected local solves are copied to cloud storage and the migrated local copy is removed by the app. CSV export lets you download solve records that the app can access.
Public profiles and player search
Player profiles are public by design. A public profile can show a display name, joined date, personal bests, averages, activity charts and read-only solve history from the Default session. The player directory can expose public display names and summary information so other players can find a profile. Do not choose a display name that reveals information you do not want public.
Multiplayer and training rooms
Online battles and training rooms use temporary room codes, display names, presence and realtime messages so participants can share a scramble, timer state or cube state. People with a valid invite may see the display name and activity shared inside that room. Room links should be treated like invitations and shared only with intended participants.
Optional analytics and advertising measurement
Google Analytics may be enabled only after you choose analytics. It is used to understand page visits and broad product events such as timer activation, successful imports and multiplayer participation. Meta Pixel may be enabled only after you allow advertising measurement. It is used to evaluate advertising outcomes such as an activated timer user or completed registration.
The event layer is designed not to send emails, passwords, display names, room codes, profile identifiers, complete scrambles or authentication tokens. Page URLs sent to Google are stripped of sensitive query parameters. Meta Pixel is not loaded on URLs containing room, profile, scramble or authentication parameters.
You can change your choice at any time using “Privacy choices” at the bottom of a page. Withdrawing consent stops new optional events from being sent by this browser, although providers may retain data already processed under their own policies.
Service providers and external assets
The app uses Supabase for authentication, database and realtime features. Public pages may load libraries, icons or fonts from content delivery networks, including Google Fonts and Phosphor Icons. Chart.js and Three.js support charts and the training cube. If optional measurement is enabled, Google and Meta act as additional providers under their own terms and privacy controls.
Retention, security and your choices
Guest data remains until you clear it, use an app deletion control, or the browser removes site storage. Cloud data remains while the account and service require it, subject to backups, security logs and legal obligations. Realtime room data may be cleaned after inactivity. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
You can export solve data from the timer. To request access, correction or deletion of cloud account data, use the route on the contact page. Do not post account details, reset links or private information in a public issue.
Children and changes
The timer may appeal to younger cubers. Users who are not old enough to consent to an account or optional tracking in their location should use the service only with a parent or guardian. Advertising measurement should remain disabled unless valid consent is available.
This policy may change as features and providers change. Material updates will be reflected by a new effective date on this page.
